“Seduced” claims suspect politicians

The juror and politicians accused of child rape has been interrogated said that it was the girl who took the initiative for sex and that he was seduced.
It emerged during the trial that was held on Monday, reports Swedish Radio Skaraborg.
The 50-year-old man admits that he has had sexual intercourse with a 17-year-old girl inside a youth hostel where she was treated and where he worked as a substitute.
The key question for the prosecutor has to convince Skaraborgs district and city courts that the man knew and understood that he molested a girl who was put under compulsory treatment (LVU). This is because that is why the suspected offense of child rape even if the girl is 17 years old.
At the beginning of the investigation, denied the man that he had sexual intercourse with the girl but admitted after a while it occurred at two occasions. “I was seduced simply, and I’m ashamed of it but there is a difference between that and rape”.
The man remains in custody awaiting sentence. He has renounced all political office.
