A container truck overturned at Ivarsbergsmotet in Arendal on Thursday evening. The road is blocked and the vehicle can be lifted with cranes.
The truck overturned on an access road down to the oil port, said police in Västra Götaland.
It’s not so much traffic where besides just the port, and it has now been all night to wait.
– It is not the highest traffic situation there right now, says Stefan Gustafsson, spokesperson for the police.
The road is likely to be off for several hours in connection with the salvage operation and a crane must be used to lift the car, police said.
The truck’s driver has run to the hospital. He must have had some kind of head injury and a cutting injury of one hand.
It is unclear how the accident happened. The police will investigate it but at the moment there is no suspicion of crime.
