A 31-year old man has probable cause to arrest on suspicion of attempted murder on an eight year old boy in a municipality near Umeå. A 31-year old man has probable cause to arrest on suspicion of attempted murder on an eight year old boy in a municipality near Umeå. According to police, the man should have subjected the boy to “a horrific act,” writes Västerbotten Courier online.

The incident occurred shortly after midnight, the night of Sunday, in a residence in a crane Municipality of Umeå. The boy’s mother woke up in the middle of the night by her son screamed. She ran into the baby’s room and was greeted by a terrible sight, the newspaper said.

– She sees how the man makes a horrendous acts against the child, something that fits within the framework of attempted murder, says Mats Bruhn, on-call investigators at Västerbotten police, who did not want to go into the acts of violence that hit the child.

 
        
             
     
     
 

When the mother tried to stop the man, he gave also to her.

– He is addressed as violence against the mother and is also suspected of assault against her, says Bruhn.

The 31-year-old and her mother reported to have any kind of relationship. The man is not previously known to the police.

He is reported to have been intoxicated when the suspected assassination attempt took place. The police do not want to talk about what emerged during the hearings and state nor how the man stands to the charges.
