Anna Carlstedt has been elected new president of the Red Cross. She is Director of Studies at Ersta Sköndal University College, and has a background as including Chairman of the IOGT-NTO.
“We see a clear trend of increasing vulnerability in society. Here, the Red Cross step up even more by both to act here and now, and work long-term and preventive “says Anna Carlstedt in a press release.
The Red Cross has almost 150 000 members and more than 30,000 volunteers in Sweden.
