A dead man was found this morning in Ekolsund, between Bålsta and Enköping. Police suspect currently no crime.
The man was found in connection with the Preem station in Ekolsund, says Christer Nordström, who is spokesman for the police in Uppland.
– The man was quickly found deceased and police cordoned off a large area. It began a preliminary investigation of the murder, he said.
During the day, the police carried out a technical examination of the scene, and a large number of people have been interrogated.
– We have also been in contact with someone close to the man, who was in his 50s. At present there is no evidence at the crime, but it can be an illness. But we are not sure, but must wait for the forensic examination, says Christer Nordström.
What is it that you are inquiring?
– It is above all a large number of truck drivers who existed in the area. This is a rest area where many stops and rests. We have also noticed that the man has been visible at the gas station and the pumps at 23 o’clock last night, he said.

– It has come to our specific circumstances of the interrogations and that goes for the study of the site and the external inspection of the body, says Christer Nordström at Uppsala police.
