Fredrik Reinfeldt (M) and Stefan Löfven (S) tried to show the differences in each other in the SVT debate – but experts said they were too quiet.
According to rhetoric expert Elaine Ekswärd won Löfven, but just barely.
– I’m disappointed that we only got to see this the grinding, she said if Fredrik Reinfeldt.
They would fight for six important topics in SVT’s Prime duel. But one giant battle was never really in the television studio.
When Stefan Löfven asked Reinfeldt to calm down said Reinfeldt:
– I am calm.
And just calm was the lasting impression of the experts Aftonbladet has spoken with.
– I’m disappointed that we only got to see this the grinding, said rhetoric expert Elaine Ekswärd afterward on Reinfeldt’s tone.
She said it who won the debate was Stefan Löfven, but it was the hair.
– He won, but barely. It has almost never happened before, she said.
Reinfeldt is usually a better rhetorician than Löfven, she explained its rating.
Even Aftonbladet political commentator Lena Mellin thought the debate was boring. She believed that Reinfeldt tried to back after the last debate in P1 last Friday, when he had a highly critical tone towards Löfven.
– It was a little too much there, she said.
The moderate parliamentarian Hanif Bali said Fredrik Reinfeldt criticized no matter how he behaves, whether he is too hard or too quiet.
– It’s like choosing between the plague and cholera, he said.
The MP Lawen Shipowner (S) found Löfven made a good impression:
– He was stable, confident and safe, it was not too much pajkastning.
Fredrik Reinfeldt responded in Aftonbladet live streaming on your mood.
– I think a lot more on this kind of duels, especially in television. Basically, it’s about reaching and have great respect for the uncertain voters. Therefore, I want to be as specific as possible. I can show a lot of disagreement on the red-green edge.
Stefan Löfven thought that the tempo had to do with the debate format:
– It may be that TV host steered more in a different way and left of questions for each person. It may be that it becomes a little more quiet then.
“The Facts”
The duel began with a quick review of what the parties think about arms exports.
And there were the two prime minister candidates fairly unanimous.
Instead heated up it to at question number two: jobs.
Fredrik Reinfeldt (M) began by telling us about the Alliance’s proposals Sweden The building, which among other things, hopes to 20,000 construction jobs will be created. Then said Stefan Löfven (S) that unemployment has increased in recent years.
– We can confirm that after eight years as Prime Minister Reinfeldt, unemployment higher, long-term unemployment is higher and youth unemployment is higher. It is fact, that you must take responsibility for, he said.
When the topic switched to climate suited Fredrik Reinfeldt on to state that Stefan Löfven has a different opinion than the stated partner the Green Party on the nuclear issue. The Green Party wants to dismantle nuclear reactors.
Löfven wants to phase out nuclear power in the long run, but not so as to compromise the Swedish industry.
– This is our starting point and I can tell you how many times any time, said Löfven.
Alliance is to even more nuclear reactors can be built.
When the school was discussed asked presenter Karin Hübinette what the difference really is the Moderates and the Social Democrats’ education policy.
Löfven raised to S wants to put a lot more resources at the school than the Alliance proposes in his entire manifesto, and that one has a different view of the profit that private school companies today can do, it would be regulated by higher demands . He accused Fredrik Reinfeldt to reduce taxes rather than focus on school.
Reinfeldt said that S-leader was positive to a large portion of the tax cuts of the Alliance made:
– You are with our tax cuts, but you do not pretend about it in the debates, said Fredrik Reinfeldt.
He also said:
– I’m tired of hearing the descriptions of everything that is wrong from you .
Löfven got angry
Löfven took up that staffing is generally ten percent lower in private welfare companies. He also requires that the principle of openness should apply to private companies.
– It will never be okay to cut back on staffing to make more profit, he said.
Reinfeldt again took up the example from S manifestos. When angered Stefan Löfven to:
– You think you always know more than I do what is in our manifesto, he said.
In the last topic, integration, would be debated was the party leaders all agreed: Sweden to accept refugees and efforts should be deployed where needed.
Fredrik Reinfeldt la why the gunpowder that beat against the Sweden Democrats.
– The voting for this party, voting for a new government. We can not somehow work with this party.
Stefan Löfven said he believes that people who vote for SD is worried about the development of society, if they get to keep the job, how the economy looks.
– If these people feel secure, then it is less fertile ground for this kind of games.
When the debate would end got Reinfeldt question of whether he will vote for Löfven as Prime Minister on the red-green block becomes larger than the Alliance. He clung to that promise.
Löfven did not comment on what government we will see if S wins the election.
– It must be the parties who come to the parliament that helps out. There must be several options, he said.
