– We have come to the conclusion that we follow the practice previously. We get eight chairmanships and they get seven chairmanships, says Mikael Damberg, group leader in parliament for S.
Negotiation on -chairs of parliamentary committees takes place between the two main parties. Thereafter, each allocate entries to other parties – for example, M may give chairmanships to his alliance colleagues and S can let the Green Party get chairmanships. But the Sweden Democrats have no ability to require any such item.

S also takes care of the practice under the presidency of the EU Council.
