Sjöstedt: We disagree – Aftonbladet

Sjöstedt: We disagree – Aftonbladet

The Left will drop until Stefan Löfven (S) as Prime Minister.

However’m not Sjöstedt talking about an S-led budget until negotiations on valfrågan – gains in welfare – ends in compromise.

– The whole goal is to get along in the profit issue, then we take the budget, he said at a press briefing in parliament.

The disappointment at Jonas Sjöstedt (V) after the Social Democrats, Stefan Löfven announced that they will not sit in government together seems to have been replaced by negotiation glow.

– We are a left alternative and an opposition party, said Sjöstedt to reporters on Friday, shortly after Löfven announced that he intends to form a government with the Green Party, and for talks with the Left.

Jonas Sjöstedt began by saying that V thinks unblocking Stefan Löfven as Prime Minister, but that this time makes it through to abstain in the vote, Prime Minister.

– There is a difference with the tradition we have had to vote for the Social Democratic prime ministers. It has to do with that we are not part of the government, said Jonas Sjöstedt.

Waiting for an offer

In contrast, the S and V talks about V’s key election issue, gains in welfare. It could Aftonbladet reveal earlier in the week.

– Our negotiating teams have met a few times and negotiated profit issue. We are not consistent yet. But we are in a substantive discussion. We also met with the party leadership level as recently as this morning. They know our position very well. They want to make up with us on this issue. Now we are waiting to get a bid that shows that we can find solutions.

Are you ready to fold you in terms of end to gains in welfare?

– No, it is our primary concern, we really want change that matters in winning issue, and that we must remove the profit pursuit.

“Profit Hunting” is a somewhat milder expression than before from the party leader. V went to the polls for a ban on welfare benefits. Several of the questions from reporters after the formulation was about how tough requirements V really have to come to a compromise.

Need V’s support

– We have a good bargaining position. We have good contact with each other. We have a good tone, said Sjöstedt.

But he also said, between the lines, that S will find it difficult to get through its budget without support from the Left. Without the Left’s Social Democrats and the Green parties under the Alliance, said Sjöstedt.

– We have a parliamentary position where we needed to get through the budget. We’re talking of course about the whole political situation, but talks about gains in welfare.

On the issue of V may vote down an S-led budget if you do not get through a ban on the gains in welfare said Sjöstedt Aftonbladet:

– We do not speak in those terms, we have not seen the budget yet. The whole goal is to get along in the profit issue, and then we take the budget.
