A low pressure from the Norwegian Sea passed over northern Scandinavia on Saturday. SMHI issued several class 1 warning for very strong gusts of up to 24 meters per second in Norrland. The weather service also warned of rain, wet snow and poor visibility in the mountains.
In Västerbotten and in Östergötland received emergency services called out then fallen trees blocked roads. 18 passengers, en route from Norrbotten in Stockholm, was trapped in cars for hours since the train traveling in collided with a tree.
