Still got 53 votes in the South in the first round and 51 votes in the other. This means that seven members from other parties in the first voting round and five in the second vote on the SD candidate, despite the fact that both the bourgeois and the Red-Green party leaders gave the signal that their members would vote blank. Between the first two referendums changed his mind apparently two ledamöter.En third ballot shall be conducted at 14 o’clock where Björn Söder is expected to be elected as Second Vice-President with a record weak support, then the other seven parties made a selection, they do not give him active support.

All three voting rounds conducted by secret ballot.

Social Democrat Urban Ahlin was chosen just before 11.30 to parliament new President. Shortly thereafter elected Mr Billström (M) as first Vice-President. Both were elected unanimously.

Subsequently nominated Sweden Democrats Björn Söder as Second Vice President. Left Party group leader Hans Linde went up into the pulpit and requested a secret ballot on Björn Söder. Linde’s reasoning was that all members who wanted to highlight the choice of SD. candidate would have the opportunity to vote blank.

The nomination of South severe criticism of the V leader Jonas Sjöstedt when he went into the Chamber. Sjöstedt believe it is inappropriate to Björn Söder to be Second Deputy Speaker.

 - This is a person who distinguished himself by a series of homophobic and racist remarks in the past. I press that it is inappropriate to have such a President. It is inappropriate to have a right-wing and racist party in this key position, for example in touch with other countries. Therefore, we will not vote for the Sweden Democrats, said Sjöstedt.

The vote with ballots began shortly after 11.30.

Any chance to Björn Söder’s hardly stopped since the bourgeois parties according Moderates group leader Anna Kinberg Batra believes that the practice is to be followed. South needs to get a majority of the members behind.

As Third Vice President is expected to Green Party, Parliamentary fourth largest party, nominate Esabelle Dingizian.
