There is now culling of the wolf that has torn many sheep, including in Skåne. About 150 hunters are involved, but still has therefore not been able to hunt down the wolf.
– It’s probably easier to find a needle in a haystack than finding the wolf if not expose themselves. It is an area with dense vegetation and forests, and it is a shy animal who absconds. Now and then, it must have food, and then take it a sheep, which is the problem, says Henrik Barnekow, hunt leader.
