– This is a three-storey building in central Arboga, something has exploded in this house. It is unknown what is the type of explosive, said Lisa True Ervik, press officer of the police in Västmanland.

– Several windows have been smashed by the explosion, said True Ervik.
What should the residents do?
– We have reports that there are many people in the place, we are grateful if you do not go up to the current address, said Lisa True Ervik.
Police bomb group is on way to investigate the housing. The area around the building has been cordoned off.
– We do not suspect the case of any bomb. It is purely a safety measure, says Conny Larsson, unit leader of the rescue services said.
According to him, no one suffered any serious injuries and many of the apartments house stands empty.
– There is very little damage, no cuts at someone, says Conny Larsson.
