Class 1 warning heatwave – Dalarna Tidningar

The summer came quickly as it came. SMHI for the next day issued a class 1 warning high temperatures in the southeast of Sweden. This applies Kalmar except Oland, Östergötland County, Texas and Stockholm County except Roslag Coast.

In these counties counting SMHI with the highest temperatures can reach 30 degrees for at least three consecutive days.

Warnings for high temperatures SMHI introduced two years ago. Class 1 means that there are certain risks to the public and disruption for some social functions.

But it gets warm in much of the rest of the country although it does not reach the warning limit of 30 degrees. Thursday begins a period of high summer heat of Götaland, Svealand and southern Norrland, where the maximum temperature in many places exceeds 26 degrees.

In the southern Norrland it is warm through Friday, but in the south continues the heat throughout the weekend.
