At 12.00 today organizes Missing People Dependent Day 2015 all over Sweden. The aim is to show the public that Missing People never stop looking for missing persons.
– This is to remind all those who have lost someone or miss someone that we never stop looking as long as there are volunteers lining up. Unlike the police, who only has resources for three to four days, says Lasse Jandermark, administrative manager at Missing People Sjuhärad.
Relatives Day is a nationwide activity that annually organized by Missing People Sweden on the first Sunday in May. At 12.00 today collected the various local departments to focus primarily on so-called cold cases, where the person has been gone a long time.
In Sjuhärad will Missing People during the day to look for 85-year-old Rune Svenljunga who disappeared last year.
– But we are obviously still out for Juhani who disappeared almost 14 days ago, says Lasse Jandermark.
With Dependent Day hopes Missing People also recruiting more members to the organization .
– We have 35 000 enrolled in our search party registers, but feel free to be doubled because then the chances are greater that we will find the people. Without our volunteers, we had not had any organization.
