– We do not keep track of how much we throw away, but if you throw two slices of bread a week, it becomes the whole three kg in a year, she says.
On top of that also disappears a lot out in the sink – we flush away 26 kg of milk, coffee and juice per person per year. Though there are tricks to stop wastage.
– Keep track of what’s in the fridge, and have a system for keeping the oldest exceedingly. Maybe you can involve the children and appoint someone to refrigerators responsible? It is also good to write a shopping list before you go shopping, says Ingela Dahlin.
