Female difficult stabbed in Tidaholm – Aftonbladet

At half past eight on Friday stabbed a woman in the chest of a man on Torggatan outside the town hall in Tidaholm.

Damage Location of the woman is unclear

A man has been arrested and the police have launched a preliminary investigation of attempted murder.

The police were alerted by the clock 24/8 for a man to have stabbed a woman at Torggatan outside the town hall in Tidaholm.

– The man stabbed her several times in the chest, said Bjorn Blixter, spokesman Police West region.

Witnesses said the offender was sitting at the woman lying on the ground. Witnesses say that she was breathing.

– We received many phone calls from witnesses. Many people tried to talk and averting the attack, but the man waved them off with his knife, said Bjorn Blixter.

Injury Situation unclear

It was only when the police arrived on the scene as the man dropped the knife – and the police could arrest mannnen.

– When he saw the police patrol, he released the knife. He understood enough that the risk was great that otherwise he would be shot by the police, says Björn Blixter.

The woman was taken to hospital, but the injury situation is still unclear.

The police assess at present the crime of honor. The man said that the woman was his wife.

– The evidence suggests that it is the offense is honor. The other words are not dangerous to be out on the streets in Tidaholm. It is not anyone who becomes a victim of this, says Björn Blixter.
