Boy fell from the fourth floor – Göteborgs-Posten

A four year old boy fell out of a window in a house on the fourth floor in Bergsjön. He was alone in the apartment with her two-year sister when he fell out.

The alarm came in around half nine o’clock on Monday morning. A boy of preschool age had fallen out of a window in a house on the fourth floor in Bergsjön, and landed on a lawn. Police estimated the fall height to 20 meters.

– It is high therefore, pretty damn high, says Thomas Fuxborg, police spokesman.

The child was taken to Eastern Hospital. In which was stated that the boy miraculously survived with minor injuries.

– There are minor injuries. So it goes in the right direction, says Lena Mattsson at Cedars-press department.

When the boy fell out, he found himself alone in the apartment with her two-year sister. No adult was there, according to police.

– Another child was trapped in the apartment. We had to break the door to enter. What I do know there was no adult in there, there were two children alone, says Lars-Gunnar Gustafsson, duty officer at the police.

A parent came to the scene shortly after the accident occurred. It was the boy’s mother.

– The mother was obviously shocked when she showed up, which is quite understandable, says Thomas Fuxborg, police spokesman.

On Monday afternoon, it was still unclear why the boy fallen out the window. Police have set up a notification of bodily harm.
