The suspects were spotted by a guard when they conducted a ‘smash and grab in an industrial area.
– It began with a guard caught someone on a building trade and which have the truck messed with a lot of damage and prepared to steal the machines, says Kenneth Johannesson, duty officer in Örebro County.
When the thieves were caught, they tried to run on guard. The police were called in and followed the thieves who tried to get away.
– They do not stop until the residential area where the crates into a police car in front and another police car gets mangled front. Two police cars are then collided, plus the car they go in, says Johannesson.
No one was seriously injured in the incident.
