A skater in their 70s are missing since noon on Monday. He went out on the ice at Muskö in the Stockholm archipelago.
– We have not found him. He was not in his apartment when we were there earlier in the evening, says Pia Glenvik, duty officer at the Stockholm police.
Sökpådraget expected to last all night with several hovercrafts and search dogs.
– We’re looking at the water and on land. There is poor visibility and the water has risen and there is water over the ice in many places. It makes it difficult to get any trace. But we do the best we can, says deputy rescue leader Mattias Hansson.
