Östergötland Folkblad was founded in 1905 by the workers of
Norrköping as a counterweight to the bourgeois press, including the Norrköping Newspapers. In the 1960s fought Folkbladet together with Östgöten Linköping to Folkbladet Östgöten. From 1998, called the newspaper again Folkbladet. Since 2000 included newspaper in NTM Group.
The most important thing for Folkbladet is the local news coverage.
Folkbladet reflect daily local culture and the local sport. Folkbladet offers its readers consummate games and TV service seven days a week. TV Annex on Wednesdays adds value to those wanting to know more.
