Nazis in the rioting – large police operation – Aftonbladet

Some 40 people from the Nazi Swedish Resistance Movement have been detained at Medborgarplatsen in Stockholm.

They are suspected of rioting.

– When the would set up, they began to rush, says Eva Nilsson at Stockholm police.

At 14 o’clock wrote police on its website that 40 people with placards and banners gathered in Östermalm to carry out an unauthorized demonstration programs. The police arrived to escort the demonstrators, who comes from Nazi Swedish Resistance Movement, Södermalm.

– It was quiet the entire way, but when they would set themselves at Medborgarplatsen something happened and they started to rush, says Eva Nilsson at Stockholm police.

Eva Nilsson declares that there seems to have been no counter-demonstrators at the scene.

Aftonbladet reporter Frida Söderlund is at Medborgarplatsen and stating that the police used pepper spray at stake. Several people gathered at police cordons around the Civic Square.

– We are in full swing. Now they will be transported away, then we’ll see who is suspected of a crime. Right now it is quiet at the site, says Eva Nilsson at 15:15 o’clock.

One of the Nazis should have received injuries requiring medical care.

When Aftonbladet arrive at Medborgarplatsen sitting or lying around 35 people bundled to the ground and waiting to be run from there in small groups.

The police are in place with about eight buses, about as many cars and at least six horses.

The illegal demonstration and tumult at Medborgarplatsen classified as crimes against the Public Order Act and rioting.
