A hundred black-clad and masked men hit the merge with security guards and police in central Stockholm. But there was only one person detained on suspicion of assaulting a police officer.

Trying to get a picture

According to Aftonbladet will assailants have attacked people who seem to have a foreign background the central Station. This has so far not commented on closer police. Towe Hägg wanted at 7.30 pm not say how police view of the event looks like.

I did not work last night and keep itself on trying to get a picture of the event.

The police had already in advance received information that people associated with various football firms would gather in Stockholm on Friday evening. Riot-equipped police were tasked to meet the different groups.

Racist fliers

Police have been in contact with them at different times and has mainly divided them. Since this has calmed down after one hour approximately, said Fredrik Nylen at the City Police last night.

In a film that Aftonbladet published shows how a large black clad, masked gang embarks on a number of security guards at the Sergel Square . According to the police to have moved on from 70 to 100 people who participated in the violence.

Before the attack the racist leaflets entitled “It’s enough now!” have spread, directed against the “street children” at the Centre. A police source states for Aftonbladet that the groups that moved in the city consisted of both football hooligans like Nazis.

Unclear extremist link

But the assailants must have been extreme right purposes, the police could neither confirm nor deny the night.

It is not confirmed. The documentation contained in the file only talk about football law firms, then obviously members of a firm have political opinions too, said Nylen.

TT: So the police have no information whatsoever that Nazis should have awarded flyers and assaulting dark-skinned people?

I received a phone call from the police that they have found the flyers, but nothing about who If so, have stood and shared them out. There may well be additional information that is not known to me.

Nazi Swedish Resistance Movement, the late night out a text about the disturbances in central Stockholm on its website, where the event is described as hooligans’ cleared up, among the criminal immigrants. “
