The government should investigate the possibility of creating legal channels to seek asylum, reports the Echo.
The decision taken on Thursday and the matter will be investigated in accordance with the agreement on Refugee crisis between the government and the bourgeois parties. The inquiry will bring forward proposals that enable refugees to enter the EU legally, with the help of visas or entry permits to seek asylum.
It will be led by Maria Ferm, team leader of the Green Party parliamentary group.
– It is of course totally unacceptable that the situation will continue, she says to echo all the refugees who dies on the road towards the EU.
Meanwhile, the inquiry will last for two years.
– It is important that they are conducted in a thorough way and then it also takes a certain time, say Ferm.
The report shall also analyze the conditions that the proposals will make an impact on EU countries and EU institutions.
