New protests against the South: "Shalom Mr. President" – Swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet

Rossana Dinamarca (V) refused the other day to say, Mr President when she opened his speech in the House. Björn Söder pointed out then that to say, Mr President, then Dinamarca responded by saying “you are not my President.”

And during today’s debate in the House continued protests.

Green Party Jan Lindholm said “riihkabeaivvi sardnideaddji” – “Mr President” in Northern Sami. Something that got Björn Söder to interpose “Mr. President.”

The South had no objection when the Left Party Karin Rågsjö today began with the words:

– Shalom Mr. President (Shalom means peace or hello in Hebrew, ed note.).

The protests with the Second Vice-President took off after Björn Söder in a newspaper interview conducted an argument about who is Swedish. He mentioned the Jews and Sami as examples of groups that may indeed be Swedish citizens, but in his view, not Swedes if they do not “assimilate”.

Since the article is south faced criticism and several voices have been raised that require his resignation.
