Emojin most popular in Sweden – Upsala Nya Tidning

It is the IT oriented magazine IDG who writes about an international study of the emojis most used by different countries’ inhabitants. The company Swiftkey, which develops a virtual keyboard, has done the survey. They have gone through a half million sent emojis of users with 15 different languages ​​over a four month period, writes the IDG.

The symbol for the plot is most used in the world of Swedes, Norwegians and Danes. The survey also shows that the symbol of a loaf of bread is most popular in Sweden. Two small pink hearts and smiley winking with one eye also used most frequently by everyone in Sweden compared with the rest of the world.

As regards categories is the gestures, alcohol and hearts are most popular among the Swedish-speaking. Two palms up in the air peaks among gestures here, and two frothy beaker of beer in the alcohol category.

However, the symbol that outperforms all others go in love. The big red heart is the most popular emojin among us Swedes.
