Åsa Romson: It’s seriously now – Aftonbladet

Åsa Romson promised that the government will make more green investments than ever.

Since invited Stefan Löfven up on stage.

– We want to implement Future policy that Sweden needs. We take the lead in climate development, said Stefan Löfven.

The Green Party convention in Örebro have started. It is the first congress of the party in government and the theme is “Now we are building Sweden”.

– There is serious now, it is not the other parties’ rhetoric that is most important to analyze, but reality. That is the reality we now have the responsibility to improve, said spokesperson Åsa Romson when she opened the congress.

Åsa Romson spoke about the importance of green investment, on a joint and several asylum policies and in the community.

– Social Community requires that we see and use the power of civil society, says Åsa Romson.

– It fits well with the former prime minister’s words, that we must open our hearts.

Boots to Jan Björklund

A mobile phone rang in the speaker’s podium and Åsa Romson pretended to talk to the Liberal Party leader Jan Björklund – which was met with great applause in the conference hall.

– Hey, Jan Björklund. If I know where your nuclear gone …? No, for when we can produce energy from the sun, the woods, the wind and the water belongs to nuclear power in the past.

She promised that when the term of office ends, the government will have made more green progress than any government before.

– It is the voters demand that we have delivered when we ask for new trust by 2018.

Stefan Löfven: We take the lead

Åsa Romson highlighted five points where the Green Party received through green policies. Stop arms exports to dictatorships were met by intense applause from the audience.
