During Sunday was the police divers on site at Kill Falls and should have made some discoveries.
The place is still blocked. Police have yet not determined the identity of the deceased man. But the police are working for the theory that there is a man who was reported missing in Avesta on Friday.
– We have an idea who it could be, but we are awaiting autopsy says Joran Lindblom, Dala Police’s communications department.
– We have no information to give about the present.
Examination of the body will be conducted in Uppsala on Tuesday. Police investigating the remains as a suspected murder.
– As long as we do not have better information so we are investigating it as a murder suspect says Joran Lindblom.
It was last Thursday in the last week that a dead man was found in the river at the Dead Falls in Avesta by some fishermen. A few hours after the man was found dead police launched an investigation into suspected murder.
Police want to get in touch with people that moved the area around the Dead Falls late afternoon and evening on Thursday.
