Sharp criticism at the hospital in Torsby – Västerbotten Courier

Hospital in Torsby get sharp criticism from the Agency for Health Care (IVO), which considers the management of trauma at the hospital has such shortcomings that patient safety is not acceptable, writes Värmland Folkblad.

Conducting should now review the appropriateness of whatsoever handle trauma cases at the hospital, according to the IVO.

The criticism comes after an incident last year when a man was taken to hospital with fractures inter alia ribs. At the hospital, his condition deteriorated and after six days he was treated in intensive care for, among other things, kidney failure and low blood pressure.
