(SIX) Tele2 are critical of the report that the investigator Stone Heckscher today submitted to the government. Heckscher believe that telecom operators will continue to store traffic data for customers although the European Court of Justice annulled Union Data Storage Directive. "We are critical to this study's conclusions as so casually waving away the integrity issue, which we know is very important for many of our clients. Sweden stands today in the EU in principle alone in its position in the data storage issue if we look at other countries where the question examined on the basis of national legislation, "says Stefan Backman, General Counsel, Tele2 Sweden, according to a press release. According to the Directive, telecommunications store customer Communication within six months. Sten Heckscher believes European Court of Justice annulled directive but not the Swedish Act which was enacted in shortly thereafter. He therefore proposes only "changes margin ". The report should now out for consultation. Mattias Magnusson mailto: mattias.magnusson@six-group.se www.blogg.six.seSIXNews SIX News
