President berated the Minister of Finance – Aftonbladet

The moderate President Mr Billström berated today the Magdalena Alvarez in the Chamber – when she questioned why he did not act against their fellow party members.

– I recommend the Minister of Finance not to begin to talk back with the Speaker Bureau, it may finance minister take the rostrum, he said.

The fiery altercation occurred in connection with a replica shift in afternoon interpellation debate.

Conservative January Ericsson had raised the issue of the government’s actions surrounding the EFSI, European Foundation for strategic investments. He argued that the government’s flawed policies risked cost Swedish taxpayers a lot of money. Ericsson was supported by comrade Fredrik Schulte in the pulpit, also accused the government of lacking control in question and that now do not act.



“Slipping on the truth”

But when Schulte was done had Magdalena Andersson ilsknat to – a lot.

When it was her turn to board the pulpit, she went instead to President podium and Tobias Billström, who is now the first Vice-President and former were moderately Minister.

There questioned her why Billström had not acted against his party colleague who she thought had slipped in the truth.

Magdalena Andersson defended himself by saying that she walked over to the bureau for help. And continued:

– I have some difficulty in the debate when there are allegations that slide too much on the truth. I have raised it earlier in the afternoon interpellation debate.
