More prison sentences after the Nazi attack in Kärrtorp – Expo – Democratic journal

Another nine Nazis in the Swedish Resistance Movement condemned the attack on anti-racism demonstration in Kärrtorp. All sentenced to prison for rioting. Several activists sentenced for other crimes. Previously sentences came against 14 activists.

It was 15 December 2013, activists in the Swedish Resistance Movement, attacked the anti-racism rally in Kärrtorp. The Nazis attacked anti-racists with sticks and Bengalis, threw stones and bottles. A 30-year-old sentenced for example, on Thursday for having thrown a bicycle against the demonstrators.

On Thursday it was announced judgments against nine men between 19 and 31 years old. All were convicted of rioting jailed for eight and three months. A 22-year-old convicted addition of hate speech for having made the Hitler greeting.

Many of the activists now been sentenced for the attack in Kärrtorp punished additionally for crimes related to other events. This includes about vandalism, crimes against knife Act, calling larceny and theft.

An opportunity that will return in judgment is a square meeting in Umeå in 2013 that around 20 Nazis took part in. A 21-year-old was charged with stalls meeting that threw a bottle at a woman, shattered glass from the bottle also met another woman who received wounds. 21-year-old was acquitted from the charge of entitlement could not conclude that it was he who threw the bottle. He is sentenced, however, that made Hitler greeting at the plaza meeting.

The same 21-year-old was charged for another assault in Stockholm in 2013. He was suspected of kicking or hitting two men, along with a 22-year-old, who also condemned the attack in Kärrtorp. The two acquitted, however, of beating the district court did not conclude who carried out the assault.

The trials after the riot in Kärrtorp has been divided into several stages. By February sentenced seven activists to prison for rioting. In March 2014 sentenced seven activists. Even a person from the anti-racist manifestation has been convicted of attempted murder in connection with the manifestation of Kärrtorp.
