– He has driven out onto the bridge, it is departed, and went off and pull the car ended up completely in the water, says Jessica Åkerström, duty officer at the police regional command center in Falun.
She says that the driver has have escaped and are unharmed.
The alarm about the accident came to the police at 20.00. A heavy wreckers will try to get up the truck out of the water.
Bridge that leads over Österdalälven, is a narrow pontoon bridge. It was badly damaged in the accident.
– It is broken and must be shut down, says Åkerström.
