Barely three months after the Ohio formed a separate region, proposals from the Government that Sweden map will be redrawn and consist of fewer and larger regions.
In a debate article Daily News writes today, the Socialist civilian minister Ardalan Shekarabi about how an unfashionable Sweden needs updating. But new regional divisions is something Moderates Regional Council and Regional Chairman of Region Ohio, Hakan Jansson not at all believe in.
– Now we have a regional division in Jönköping and this must be allowed to settle, he said.
Today’s division in the county and county councils were created largely in the 1600s and is not adapted to the challenges of modern society. It says the government now wants to redraw the map adminstrativa and make fewer and larger regions. The issue has been debated and investigated in installments over many years.
But on DN debate writes today writes civilminster Ardalan Shekarabi that changes in population structure, ways of life and social economy now means that it is time to leave the model we have. These include that the county councils need a large volume of patients in order to make efficient investments and thus guarantee the quality, says the Social Democrats’ regional council in Jönköping Carina Ödebrink.
– All people should be able to feel that they advanced and specialized care will be be equal and be there for everyone, she says.
Exactly how the new regions should look like is not clear, in short, the Government will appoint negotiation persons who will be tasked to draw on the borders with stakeholders. The objective is that in two years to decide on the new Sweden division and that the new regions to begin formed of four years.
This is a political experiment that is not have none support among ordinary people.
