The police were alerted about the shootings in Vårby south of Stockholm.
Shortly thereafter left a comrade of a seriously injured 19-year-old at Huddinge Hospital.
– At present it is headlined as attempted murder, says Mats Brännlund at the Stockholm police.
The alarm about the shooting in Vårby came from residents in the area at 00:35. Soon after that the staff at Huddinge hospital by the police and announced that they will one shot injured 19-year-old receiving treatment.
– He is seriously injured, says Mats Brännlund, duty officer at the Stockholm police.
He says that after the initial investigative measures it is possible to say that the 19-year-old was shot in the shootings in Vårby.
– He has run away to the hospital by a friend, says Mats Brännlund.
The police have conducted interviews and a forensic examination of the crime scene.
Currently, no person in custody in the case is classified as an attempted murder.
– We are always interested in get hold of witnesses, says Lars Bystrom, press officer at the Stockholm police, and invites anyone who has seen or knows anything to get in touch.
