A 20-year-old man who had been missing for a week has been found dead. He was found by Missing People in a stream in Vetlanda neighborhood on Sunday afternoon.
Police have launched a preliminary investigation of murder, alternatively manslaughter. The area where the man was found has been cordoned off and techniques to examine it more closely.
– There are circumstances when we can not rule out the crime, says Lasse Johansson, press spokesman for police in California.
The 20-year-old has been missing since the night between Saturday and Sunday last week when he should have been in Vetlanda. A large sökpådrag including dogs and a helicopter and a hundred volunteers from the Missing People have been looking for him.
