At least nine people have been injured when a light truck and a minivan collided on County Road 263, between Bålsta and Enköping. Five people are seriously injured, according to police assessment.
– Three is abducted in the ambulance. The driver of the minibus was sitting clamped and a passenger was unconscious, says Mats Öjdahl, the officer in charge at Uppsala police.
The minibus with eight passengers drove in from a connecting road when the vehicles collided. In total, seven people have been transferred by ambulance to the hospital.
The county road is now closed to heavy traffic and transport department, police and emergency services are on site.
– It is full throttle, says Mats Öjdahl.
