The government’s decision not to renew a military cooperation agreement with Saudi Arabia has triggered a heated debate.

In tonight’s Agenda SVT met Carl Bildt (M) and Mona Sahlin (S ) to discuss what it means for Sweden.

The government’s decision not to renew a military cooperation agreement with Saudi Arabia have both lauded and attracted strong criticism. Carl Bildt says that Sweden could have avoided Saudi The anger and yet completed the agreement by managing the issue in a different way, for example through closer talks with Saudi Arabia prior to the decision.
