The terrorist who was killed in Brussels must have lived in Sweden – Swedish Dagbladet

The man, Mohamed Belkaid, died in a police raid in Brussels on Tuesday. According to Sky News was Belkaid Algerians and had lived for some time in Sweden, it is unclear exactly how long.

– I can not confirm the task because of an ongoing investigation, said Eric Van Der Sypt, federal prosecutor in Belgium said.

The man was married according to Sky News. But the report is not clear when he should have lived in Sweden or how long. According to documents from the IS, he traveled in April 2014 to Syria, via Germany, France and Spain. He broke into Syria from Turkey and joined the extreme jihadiströrelsen.
