Thousands of cranes at Lake Hornborga – Västerbotten Courier

The cranes at Lake Hornborga is usually a sign of spring as surely as coltsfoot and outdoor cafes. So this year: Around 13 000 cranes are right you are at the lake southeast of Skara, according to the County Administrative Board of Västra Götaland.

The first bird guest landed this year already in the beginning of February, which was unusual early because the cranes normally in March.

Meanwhile, swans started to gather in the lake Tysslingen in Örebro County, where 2,703 birds were counted on Sunday. Every year passes about 8,000 swans lake to rest before going on to their breeding grounds.
