The party degenerated and after the altercation found a man in his 40s died in a cabin in Ytterhogdal Jämtland County late last year. Shortly afterwards arrested a 34-year-old, who has now been sentenced to eight years in prison for manslaughter, reports local media.
The two men were colleagues, and according to Östersund District Court, it is proved that the 34-year-old caused his colleague’s death by violence against the head, torso and neck, reports the P4 Jämtland.
the 34-year-old has previously admitted assault and involuntary manslaughter, but has also stated that it was self-defense because he was attacked and acted in self-defense .
