The poll Eurobarometer answer 72 percent of respondents Swedes that they look fairly or very positive non-European immigration. This is considerably more than the next most positive countries Croatia and Spain, where nearly half, 48 percent, is in favor of non-European immigration.
A majority, 57 percent, of the nearly 28,000 respondents Europeans have a somewhat or very negative view of immigration on the basis of the Union. The corresponding figure for immigration in the EU is 41 percent.
Most adverse to non-European immigration, Latvians, Czechs and Italians.
