Vargjakten in Värmland called off – Västerbotten Courier

The last wolf is convicted of Värmland. On Tuesday they were shot two wolves that were left by the award of 24 wolves in Värmland in this year’s hunting license. Thus was canceled hunt.

In Örebro County remains to shoot a wolf of twelve assigned. Even a California ongoing license to hunt wolves. There have so far been shot five wolves of eight.

In total there are about 44 wolves to be shot in the country’s three wolf densest counties. After Tuesday’s game remained four. The hunt can be continued until 15 February or until all these wolves are felled.

The Wolf Hunt has been and is very infected. The EU has previously claimed that the Swedish decisions on hunting license does not comply with EU Habitat Directive. This year’s game was delayed one week ago the administrative court in Karlstad given the complainants the right to appeal the Environmental Protection Agency’s decision to approve the annual hunt. But of Appeal in Gothenburg gave administrative law a nasty rebuff, annulled the decision to temporarily stop the hunt.

The decision was in turn appealed to the Supreme Administrative Court now announced that they will make its decision on the issue during Wednesday morning.
