Police hunting after shootout in Uddevalla – Swedish Radio

A man received life-threatening injuries when he came under fire in a residential area in Uddevalla on Thursday evening. Police are investigating the incident as attempted murder or manslaughter.

Police received an alarm about the shooting at Signature Castle Road in Uddevalla at 18:40 pm on Thursday.

A witness had heard bangs and then saw several people run from the scene, according to the press spokesperson Peter Adlersson the police in West Bengal.

The shots injured man was then found outdoors on Signature Castle Road. He has been transferred to the needle in Trollhättan.

– He has damage to the upper body. He is deemed to be life-threatening damage, says Peter Adler says.

The gunshot victims man is in their 30s and is known by the police for a number of crimes, according to Peter Adlersson.

Both the helicopter and dog patrols have been deployed in the hunt for the culprits.

– There is no griffin yet, says Peter Adlersson P4 West at 22 o’clock on Thursday evening.

The police have cordoned off an area and technicians examine the crime scene.

– We knock also door and follow up on tips that we received, says Peter Adler says.
