Police have found a previously missing woman in Sigtuna.
The woman found dead in the water and a preliminary investigation into the murder has begun.
– The There is reason to believe that crime has been committed, says Sven-Erik Olsson at Stockholm police.
During the Friday evening disappeared a person from his home in Sigtuna. But not until at 12 o’clock on Saturday was alerted police and a sökpådrag was launched.
Missing woman
The police chose not to go out with signalement or even age and gender of the missing person but early information to Aftonbladet reported that it concerned a missing woman.
This information was later confirmed by the police when they stated that a woman found in the water in Sigtuna Bay.
– We are working on as we always do when there is suspicion of a crime, says Sven-Erik Olsson, spokesman at the Stockholm police.

One informant also stated that a person has been arrested in connection with woman’s disappearance, which was later confirmed by the police.
Sven-Erik Olsson does not want to leave any details about either the dead or arrested person.
– We are talking to people that may have something to say about the incident, said Sven-Erik Olsson.
Police have launched a preliminary investigation into the murder alternatively manslaughter.
