The trip to Croatia fell through because the airline went bankrupt. But the travel agent who booked the trip for a woman in Falkirk and her travel companion, still wanted to be paid. The woman took just over 20 000, on the grounds that the travel agency had time to send payment to the airline.
Now, the woman got the right of the Supreme Court, then the Consumer Ombudsman pursued the case, writes Göteborgs-Posten.
The district court sentenced also to the woman’s advantage, while the Court of Appeal held that the agent was right.
