The woman swerved for a deer when the car flipped.
She was taken by ambulance to the Central Hospital in Karlstad.
– She is seriously injured, says Per-Arne Eriksson at police in Värmland.
Three people sat in the car which at 22.30 was involved in a single accident.
According to Varmland Police dodged the female driver of a deer on Highway 62 in Torsby.
– She then drove on a concrete railing, went over it and flipped the car, says Per-Arne Eriksson, county spokesman at Värmland police.
Police and emergency services arrived at the scene.
The woman sat trapped in the car before she could be removed. The night was nursed her with serious injuries.
– She was taken by ambulance to hospital. She is seriously injured. The two passengers had minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to hospital, police said Per-Arne Eriksson.
