Bullying and sexual harassment among cabin crew – Radio Sweden

There are, according to a survey, bullying, discrimination and sexual harassment among cabin crew at SAS in Stockholm.

Here’s says cabin crew who talked to news agency TT, who has taken part in the survey.

“I think it is a special situation in our workplace, as it is often women who engage in sexual harassment and bullying.”

“These problems have been highlighted several times before, but often the one who pointed out the problems identified as hypersensitive whiner and scorned by the supervisors’ ..

The news agency has taken part in a survey SAS did in June. Of the 800 who received the survey responded to nearly 390, and it was found that 170 felt discriminated against, nearly 110 have experienced bullying and 38 say they have been victims of sexual harassment.

P4 Stockholm have searched Union local union who do not want comment on the study, referring to the company.

Henrik Edström is a press officer at SAS.

– No cases of harassment and discrimination by our employees feel are acceptable. We have zero tolerance for it.

– We can now put us with our employees to see how we can make it better.
