One person was shot in Gothenburg – Göteborgs-Posten

A man in his 30s has been shot in the leg in Bergsjön in Gothenburg. Police task force is in place in the area.

– We chasing one or more culprits, said Thomas Fuxborg, police spokesman.

The alarm about the shooting came 10:23 on Wednesday after witnesses heard several shots. A shot man was found in a parking lot on Atmosphere Street in Bergsjön. Police also found the sleeves on the site, which was blocked by waiting for the technical examination.

The man was taken by ambulance to Sahlgrenska University Hospital.

– He has an apparent gunshot wound in the leg, said Thomas Fuxborg , press spokesman at the police’s Western region.

In connection with the shootings was seen a car leave the scene in the direction of Kortedala. A passenger found a while later abandoned on January Street. Although the site has been cordoned off.

At 11:35 police said on its website that the injury situation is stable.

The police are in place in Bergsjön and Kortedala with several patrols and helicopter. Even the police task force involved in the operation.

– We are looking for perpetrators and the fact is that they’ve got something to go on, they will go on addresses. The Task Force is extremely suitable for this type of emergency, says Stefan Gustafsson, police spokesman.

Currently no person has been arrested.

– There may be several perpetrators, but there is a person to have held the gun, said Thomas Fuxborg.

Police have launched a preliminary investigation of attempted murder, alternatively attempted manslaughter.

The shooting took place less than a day after a man the age of 45 was shot in the mouth in Hjällbo.
