Two people died in a boating accident in a lake in Lerum late Friday night.
– They’ve been out and tested a boat, since it has capsized, says Fredrik Wigell at the police control center.
The alarm came at 21:35 on Friday evening. A boat had hit around in a lake Torska ground in Tollered in Lerum and several people had fallen into the water.
When police and rescue services come to the scene found two people on the shore. One of them is then already deceased, the other is intact.
Just before midnight encounters rescue service personnel, divers and rescue swimmers, a third person in the water – also deceased.
– The fatalities are males in the age of 50-60 years. It’s about an accident and we suspect no crime, says Fredrik Wigell, deputy spokesman at police in the western region.
