Apartment block in flames – two arrested

Two men have been arrested by police, suspected of having set fire to an apartment block in Horndal in Avesta. The fire was fully developed in house, which has four apartments. But no one should have been injured.

It is classified as arson at the moment, says Magnus Werkmästar, duty officer at the police in Dalarna.

He is otherwise very reticent on the subject.

The alarm about the fire came at 22 o’clock. More than four hours later, the fire is still going on.
